BioRen

Vossen Greener Chemicals, as part of Vossen Laboratories, is an involved partner in the BioRen – Advanced Biofuels Research Project, funded by the European Commission as part of its Horizon 2020 research programme. The goal of the project is to develop competitive, next-gen drop in biofuels, starting from the organic fraction of Municipal Solid Waste, freely translated to the residual fraction of the sorted waste. Vossen Greener Chemicals wants to once again contribute to the circular economy. A conscious distinction is made here between biofuels based on plant material and fuels made from a waste product.

Fuel saving

General

A high quality oil additive based on nanotechnology. The product contains the “Security Break Complex” (SBC). The product is suitable for engines, transmissions and gearboxes. It reduces shock, friction and wear, extending the life of your engine, transmission or gearbox. Make your car run like never before!

Oil F1 is a very high-quality oil additive, specially developed by Vossen Laboratories for combustion engines, transmissions and gearboxes. Oil F1 is the first oil additive produced in the Netherlands that has been developed on the basis of nanotechnology. It does not contain inert ingredients such as Teflon (PTFE) and graphite and is PFAS-free.

After addition, Oil F1 mixes completely with the oil present and will thereby enter into an active connection with moving metal parts (such as piston walls, piston rings, bearings, bearing shells, valves, turbos, compressors, rotating parts, etc.). This connection is virtually impenetrable and thus ensures a tight film layer on the metal parts. This protects the heavily loaded parts and also repairs minor damage! Due to the "Security Brake Complex" (SBC), wear is greatly reduced and even reduced to zero during a cold start. This makes Oil F1 very effective and also suitable for engines that are heavily loaded or not used for a long time, such as boat engines, campers, motorcycles, etc.

How to use?

Add 40-60 ml of product for every liter of oil. When you change the oil, you must add the product again.

Protect against cons E10 Gasoline

Since October 2019, all EURO95 fuel in the Netherlands has been provided with 10% bioethanol (E10). It is true that it is cleaner for the environment, but in many situations it is worse for a combustion engine. For example, the percentage of bioethanol has doubled from 5 to 10%. So 1 liter of bioethanol (= alcohol) has been added to every 10 liters of fuel! As a result, many classics and modern motorcycles, scooters or jet skis suffer a lot, even resulting in engine damage. Another disadvantage is that bioethanol attracts moisture, the more bioethanol, the greater the chance of moisture. When the engine is stationary, this moisture can act, resulting in internal rust formation.

Nanotechnology

Oil F1 does its job in an engine or transmission. In short, you don't see what it does, but you do notice it! Vossen has achieved a tremendous breakthrough through the application of nanotechnology. With Oil F1, the so-called "Stick-slip" is reduced enormously. Stick-slip is the static resistance that must first be overcome when starting a movement. There are many moving parts in an engine or transmission. The lower this static resistance, the better the efficiency. And you will notice!

Trial results

Over a period of 8 months, tests were carried out on various trucks used in special road transport. The choice was made to take a representative sample of old and newer trucks of different brands. The trucks were always driven by the same drivers, fed the same fuel and the drivers were not informed of the addition of Oil F1. How to use? 

Add 100 ml of Fuel F1 to 100 liters of diesel.

Add 150 ml of Fuel F1 to 100 liters of petrol.

During initial use, the fuel filters can become clogged due to the release of sludge and other deposits from the fuel tank. Check the fuel filters and replace them if necessary. After the first use, the filters will last longer and the emission of smoke will clearly decrease.
