Order within: Feb 04, 2023 12:00:00 +0100 Instructions • Remove dirt and seal any cracks (Hydrophober HS bridges gaps up to 3 mm). • Apply Hydrophober HS undiluted using low pressure to the (possibly damp) surface. Ensure a good, saturated distribution. 1 Liter is sufficient for 8-15 m2 (depending on the application method and the porosity of the material). • On very porous stone/concrete/wood apply a 2nd layer after 10-20 minutes. • Clean the used pressure sprayer immediately after use with a solvent/degreaser. Comments • Hydrophober HS gives little or no color change on most types of stone, but with smooth types of stone it is advisable to first try the product on a non-conspicuous part. • Because the penetration of water is prevented, there is much less chance of frost damage to the facade / object. • The service life* of the product can be up to 10 years under normal conditions and with proper application. *the time that a difference in water absorption between the treated and untreated stone is measurable.
